The Adventures of Sock Monkey Season 2 Episode 1: Hotel California...sort of...ish...not really... Day 1

I'm back!  After one very long school year, facing treacherous tests and other perils, I am alive and here to announce to you...*drum roll*... The Adventures of Sock Monkey Season 2!!! Starring Sock Monkey, Spock Monkey, and Company. Ok. Since I'm done with the broad credits, let's get down to business (to defeat the Huns! Sorry. Just had to...). Sock Monkey, you know. Spock? See below.
Spock Monkey is here so Sock Monkey can spend his well-deserved vacation days. Ok. Not really. We just got another sock monkey. So. I should probably get started now. So long to school, here comes the fun!
We left our house at around 6-ish in the morning and headed off towards Lake Mead. After arriving, we arranged a kayaking tour/ride/don't-get-tipped-over-by-boat-wake and my mother, Spock, and I got in our kayaks and headed off. The tour was awesome and we had a cave to ourself and I found a mallard duck (I) named Sam and a red-eared grebe (I) named Tom. See below.
This is Sam. Sam says hi.
It's a Spock-anoe!

After that, we loaded back into the car after getting slightly tanned (That was me. Tanned or lightly toasted. Take your pick.) and headed off to our final stop of the night in...*drum roll*... Las Vegas! Well, technically, Henderson, 15 miles away. Close enough. After dropping our stuff off, eating, and grabbing some stuff, we headed to the strip! Or is it the Strip? Whatever. After maneuvering through the terrors of Vegas traffic and parking issues, we walked around Vegas, taking pictures and getting chocolate (chocolate!!) in the M&M store. See below for all relevant pictures.
Dinnertime!
Chocolate...so good...
I spy with my little eye...
Uh oh. Double trouble.
Natural camouflage. In M&M's.
Start your engines...
Jellybeans forever.

Viva Las Vegas!
All you need is love(and chocolate)...love(and chocolate)...love(and chocolate), love(and chocolate) is all you need...
Nerdy M's (M&M's and monkeys)
What's for dinner? (Chocolate, of course.)
OMG!
More, please?
The M&M's just keep on coming.
Golf, anyone?
For the love of chocolate.
We headed back to the hotel after that (P.S. our hotel was called Fiesta Henderson and has a casino on the first level). And that concludes Day 1 of The Adventures of Sock Monkey Season 2 Episode 1! Any questions, comments, suggestions, ideas, etc, check out the comment board. Well, that sums up Day 1 so thanks for reading!

P.S. Check "If 'owlicious' Was A Word" for updates. ;-)

P.P.S. Last thing. I'm going to attempt a blog survey. My question: What's your favorite M&M character/color? Answer in the comment board, please. (If you want to know, I like the Brown M&M because we are both nerdy and like chocolate.) And now I am done. Once again, thanks for reading!
